Terms of Use
Last updated: 28 September 2026
These Terms of Use govern your use of the Ocli website, application and related services (the "Service"). The Service is provided by Ocli, 7 Chemin des Crêtes, 06300, Nice, France ("Ocli", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
Ocli helps organisations make their website content easier for AI answer engines (such as ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity) to understand, cite and recommend. The Service can:
- build an inventory of the pages on your website from its sitemap or a connected CMS;
- score each page's AI readiness and check it for outdated facts and overlapping content;
- recommend what to do with each page (keep, optimise, consolidate, redirect or remove);
- propose specific content fixes for you to review and approve;
- where you connect a supported CMS, save approved changes to it as drafts.
2. Accounts and Teams
You must provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity in your workspace. Workspace admins can invite team members, change their roles and remove them; admins manage billing.
3. Plans, Payments and Paddle
Some features require a paid subscription. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns and refunds, and its buyer terms apply to your purchase.
- Subscriptions are billed in advance, monthly or annually, and renew automatically until cancelled.
- Prices are shown before you pay. Applicable taxes are calculated and collected by Paddle.
- You can cancel at any time from Settings → Billing. Your plan stays active until the end of the paid period and then moves to the free plan.
- Refunds are described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
- We will give at least 30 days' notice of any price change to an existing subscription.
4. Your Content and Connected Accounts
You keep ownership of your website and the content you provide. You grant us the rights needed to analyse it and provide the Service. If you connect a CMS or other account, you confirm you are authorised to do so. We only change content in a connected CMS after you approve the change, and we save it as a draft for you to publish.
5. AI-Generated Recommendations
The Service uses third-party AI providers. Scores, fact-checks and recommendations may contain errors or omissions, and you are responsible for reviewing them before publishing. They are not legal, financial, security or other professional advice.
6. Acceptable Use
You must not:
- use the Service unlawfully or to analyse websites you are not permitted to analyse;
- attempt to interfere with, overload or compromise the Service;
- reverse engineer the Service or circumvent technical or plan limits;
- resell the Service without our written agreement.
7. Intellectual Property
Ocli owns or licenses the software, design, methodology and content used to provide the Service. Using the Service does not transfer ownership of either party's intellectual property.
8. Availability
We work to keep the Service available and accurate but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Features may change as the product develops; we will not remove a core feature of a paid plan during a paid period without notice.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ocli is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in that period. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend access where necessary to protect the Service, investigate misuse or comply with the law. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated by email or in the application before they take effect.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by French law.
