Cookies

This page lists the cookies and similar browser storage that ocli.io and the Ocli app use, what each one is for and how long it lasts.

Always on: needed for the site to work

• Sign-in session (sb-…-auth-token, local storage): keeps you signed in to the app. Removed when you sign out.
• Cookie choice (ba_consent, local storage): remembers whether you accepted or rejected analytics. Kept for 12 months, then we ask again.
• Language (ba_language, local storage): remembers English or Spanish.
• Website to start with (ba_pending_site, local storage): the website you typed before signing up, so setup can start with it. Deleted after 24 hours or once used.
• Sign-up in progress (ba_pending_signup, ba_pending_account_type, local storage): lets us finish your sign-up after you confirm your email. Removed once you're signed in.
• App layout (sidebar_state, cookie): remembers whether the app sidebar is open. Kept for 7 days.

Only if you accept analytics

Until you accept, none of these is set and no analytics event is sent.

• Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager: Google sets _ga and _ga_… cookies to count visits and sign-ups. Google's default lifetime for these is up to 2 years.
• Our own sign-up measurement: ba_vid, ba_attr and ba_last_product_visit (local storage), and ba_sid, ba_landed and ba_return_recorded (session storage, cleared when you close the tab). They tell us which pages and campaigns lead to sign-ups; the events are stored in our own database.

Other services

• Payments: when you buy a plan, the checkout is run by Paddle, our Merchant of Record, which may set its own cookies. See Paddle's privacy policy.
• Demo video: the video plays from YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com) only after you open it. YouTube may then store data in your browser.

Change your choice

Use Cookie settings at the bottom of any page. If you withdraw consent, we delete the Google Analytics cookies and our measurement ids and reload the page. You can also clear this site's data in your browser settings at any time.
